Dr. Sanjiv Kumar Sharma is one of the most renowned Neurologist of Jharkhand with more than 15 years of experience.
He is the first neurologist in India who reported COVID associated cerebellitis in paediatric age group. He published a book chapter on neurological manifestations of covid in University of Carolina, Royal Society (UK). He reported 238 case of large vessel occlusion (LVO) by free floating thrombi in Strokes during COVID – 19 pandemics. He has published multiple papers in National and International Journals. He presented and was speaker in multiple National and International forum. He did extensive work on dysphagia in stroke and its effect on prognosis. Previously he was associated with Max Superspeciality Hospital, Saket, New Delhi as a Consultant Neurology.
