Rosacea is another common skin problem. It is typically found in people who are 30+. For some people, their Rosacea makes them confident at work. In most of the cases, the thing is not as good as it seems and the condition can become worse. In such cases, you need medical attention.
Sign and Symptoms
Rosacea causes redness on various parts of your face. It can be your nose, cheeks or the forehead area. It can be your chin as well where you can notice that redness. For some people, Rosacea means a little bump of the skin including pimples on that particular red part of their face. You can feel burning as well as soreness inside your eyes because of Rosacea.
Causes and Risks
Medical experts are not sure about the causes of this disease. It does not seem to be an infection on the skin which is generally caused due to bacteria. There is a kind of irritation on the skin that can cause Rosacea. People with fair skin tend to get this disease more commonly than people with a darker skin tone. Alcohol is not a cause, but it can increase the effect when you already have Rosacea.
Treatment and Management
Most of the time medical examinations are not needed to diagnose Rosacea because the doctor can suggest the medicine by seeing the different pattern of redness on a person’s face. Low-dose antibiotics can be recommended in such cases. Skin creams are also suggested to get rid of the redness and the burning or irritation.
