Kidney disease in children often remains undiagnosed due to non specific signs and symptoms. The tell tale signs of kidney disease in children are:
- Early morning puffy eyes.
- Blood in urine.
- Frothy urine
- Increase or decreased urinary output
- Growth retardation
- Unexplained fever
- Anemia refractory to Iron, vitamin B12 and folic acid
- Bony deformities
