Paras Global Hospital, Darbhanga Gives New Life to Inamul Haque

Thousands of people in India suffer from severe traumatic injuries every year on deadly Indian roads. However, not many of them survive the mishaps, mostly due to indifference of the witnesses and subsequent delay in getting the right medical attention.

Inamul Haque, a 36 year young male patient, was a fortunate rare case who after having been severe head injury but also reached the right emergency care at the right time.

New life to Inamul Haque in Paras Hospital Darbhanga

Inamul haque was brought to the hospital with severe trauma and in a state of shock; he had a feeble pulse , severe head injury with poor hemodynamic status and low neurological response. Patient was immediately resuscitated and managed in emergency and put on ventilator support. His CT scan of head was suggestive of severe injury to brain with multiple contusions involving vital areas of brain. Tracheostomy was done to secure the airway. During the immediate surgery, his injuries were repaired meticulously and bleeding was controlled,” said doctors at Paras Global Hospital.

Dr. Ejaz Alam, Neuro Surgeon, Paras Global hospital, Darbhanga said that the patient was managed with great care. If the patient had waited another few hours, there would have been no solution to his complication. The patients’ chances of survival are highest if they receive care within a short period of time after a severe injury. During the immediate surgery, his injuries were repaired meticulously and bleeding was controlled. At the time of discharge patient was conscious, oriented, speaking and understanding the language and accepting oral feeds. He was discharged in very stable condition.
