Nutrient-rich (or nutrient-dense) foods contain a lot of vitamins and minerals and few calories. They also are low in sugar, sodium, starches, and bad fats. Your body needs vitamins and minerals, known as micronutrients. They nourish your body and help keep you healthy.

We all know that what you eat is very important. But what about, when you eat?

Signs you need more Vitamin A

  • Dry eyes
  • Blindness at night
  • Scaling, dry skin
  • Diarrhea

Carrots, sweet potatoes, squash, or tuna- grab them. This vitamin encourages healthy cell production to heal the wounds, boost immune system, and strengthen your vision.

Signs you need more Vitamin C

This antioxidant protects against diseases such as heart attacks, cancer and asthma. Orange, lemon, strawberry and papaya, kiwi, bell pepper, amla etc can be taken , this will never give you calories.
