The hair start getting thinner and weaker beginning from the crown of head. Testosterone also shrinks hair follicles, causing hair loss on the head but a greater hair growth  on the face.

Other causes of hair loss may be due to iron deficiency, thyroid disorders, sudden scalp infections, prolonged stress and vitamin B12 /D deficiency. When it comes to hair loss, missing the early signs is the commonest mistake many women make.
