Cutting the amount of sugar in the diet is the best way to avoid fatty liver disease. Food with simple carbohydrates and sugar should be taken in moderation. Instead of choosing white bread, pasta, corn, potato, choose carbohydrates like whole grain vegetable and fruits. Also cut out the soda and avoid too much juice.

Healthy fats: Unsaturated fat and omega 3 fatty acids are good for liver’s health because they reduce inflammation. Healthy fats are found in nuts, seeds and vegetable oil. Foods such as coconut oil, avocado, flax seeds also reduce inflammation.
Protein at every meal: This helps to balance insulin every time and reduces sweet cravings and provide liver with amino acids needed to function optimally. Good protein choices include eggs, a protein shake, and nuts.
