Fatty liver can be defined as a medical condition where excess fat in the diet is not the cause. Rather it is an excess of sugar and simple carbohydrates that is the problem. As per our digestive system, the sugar has to be processed by the liver, however, in the case of a fatty liver, the inflow of the sugar and the carbohydrates is faster than the digestion, creating an excess in the system. This extra sugar in the liver creates fatty acids that are building up in the liver faster than the liver pump it out.
How to prevent a fatty liver?
Cutting the amount of sugar in the diet is the best way to avoid fatty liver disease. Food with simple carbohydrates and sugar should be taken in moderation. Instead of choosing white bread, pasta, corn, potato, choose carbohydrates like whole grain vegetable and fruits. Also cut out the soda and avoid too much juice.
Your liver is 1.5 kg .Your plate should have more proteins and vegetable and only fourth part of carbohydrates. By eating carbohydrates along with other foods, body has more time to process the sugars in foods and the liver too has more time and the disease called fatty liver is less.
