Profile: Dr. Amitava Senguptais a graduate (1976) and postgraduate (1981) from Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC), Pune, and also served at Utrecht Childrens Hospital, Netherlands in Neonatal Intensive Care. He is a renowned Neonatologist and Paediatrician known across India and overseas for his expertise and excellence in Care of Newborns and delivering Neonatal Intensive Care.

He is associated as Medical Advisor / Executive Director  to various International and National NGOs related to dedicated child health and is the founder member and Chairperson & Executive Director of the ‘Development and Supportive Care (DSC) Foundation for Newborn & Children (India)’.

He has been involved as Chief in Neonatal Intensive Care work at different prestigious hospitals in Delhi for 3 decades and is a pioneer cum National Facultyactively involved with various Academies and National bodies like National Neonatology Forum(NNF) India and the Indian Academy of Paediatrics.
