About Dr. Vivek Ranjan
Dr. Vivek Ranjan is a highly experienced paediatric specialist with over 15 years of expertise in child healthcare. He currently serves as the Director and Head of the Department of Paediatrics and PICU at Paras Hospitals, Patna, where he leads advanced paediatric and critical care services.
He completed his MBBS from Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College (J.L.N.M.C.H.), Bhagalpur, Diploma in Child Health (DCH) from Patna Medical College (PMCH), Patna, and DNB (Paediatrics) from St. Stephen’s Hospital, New Delhi. He is also EULAR–PReS certified in Paediatric Rheumatology, reflecting his advanced training in managing complex autoimmune and inflammatory conditions in children.
Dr. Ranjan specializes in the management of critically ill children and has extensive experience in handling a wide spectrum of paediatric conditions. His areas of expertise include paediatric critical care, paediatric rheumatology, pulmonology, endocrinology, neurodevelopmental and behavioural disorders, as well as the diagnosis and management of rare paediatric diseases.
He is widely recognized for his sharp clinical acumen, evidence-based approach, and compassionate patient care, ensuring precise diagnosis and comprehensive treatment. His leadership has been instrumental in strengthening paediatric intensive care services and delivering high-quality outcomes in complex and high-risk cases.
