Paras Hospital Darbhanga has yet again launched another specialised clinic for the people of Mithianchal. Taking into consideration the rising issues of joint pain, immobility due to chronic joint issues and arthritis, Paras Hospital Darbhanga has launched a Joint Pain Clinic.
The clinic is spearheaded by a team of specialized orthopedic and joint replacement surgeons – Dr Hasib Iqbal Kamali and Dr Abhishekh Sarraf. The clinic is also supported by a team of physiotherapy experts that ensure rehabilitation and mobility. Paras Hospital Darbhanga is the only hospital in Mithilanchal to offer comprehensive orthopaedic, trauma and joint replacement services to the community.
According to Dr Hasib Iqbal Kamali, Consultant- Orthopedics & Joint Replacement Surgery, Paras Darbhanga, “The hospital has been able to address the needs of the public. Paras has been able to bridge the healthcare gap that existed in this region. Earlier people would continue to suffer from joint pain due to unavailability of specialised care. They would also resort to alternative medicine or avoid their symptoms and stress their joints more. Till today due to the robust outreach program of the hospital, we have been able to provide joint pain treatment to 1000’s of patients.”
Dr. Sarraf , Consultant Orthopedics & Spine Surgery, Paras Hospital, Darbhanga shares, “ We have treated patients of complex ortho trauma, pediatric orthopaedic deformities, congenital ortho defects and patients with spinal deformity and chronic pain. These patients not just belong to Darbhanga , but have come from the neighbouring districts such as Sitamarhi, Madhubani and Chamaparan to list a few. Such a footfall highlights that we have been able to make difference to the masses.”
The timings of the clinic are Mon- Sat – 9 am to 5 pm at Paras Hospital, Darbhanga.
