Nursing services are an integral part of the clinical services of any health care organization. Paras HMRI Hospital, Patna organized an Awareness program on NABH Nursing Excellence. The event was organized by Quality Council of India (QCI) and the speaker was Mrs. Avantika Gopika. She focused on nursing excellence standards which are farmed to lay down the guidelines for evaluating the nursing services being provided by a healthcare organization. The training and briefing session help provide a platform to the nursing educators and the implementation staff to opt for continual improvement.
The event was also attended by Dr Jatinder Kumar, Group Medical Director, Paras Healthcare. According to him, “ Such activities motivate the staff to perform better. Training is an integral aspect of any healthcare organization. Every healthcare professional should be aware of the standards of quality, clinical excellence and healthcare delivery. It is through these events that you sensitize your implementation staff and also work on how the same can be achieved. The program witnessed the participation of 39 senior nurses of Paras HMRI, nursing staff from Tata Main Hosptial, Jamshedpur, Jeevak Heart Hospital and Medanta, Ranchi.
