Paras Hospitals, Gurgaon participated as the ‘Medical Partner’ for the National Blind Cricket Tournament held from Dec 17-21, 2015 at various grounds in Delhi NCR- Sri Tau Devilal Stadium Cricket Ground, Gurgaon, Civil Services Cricket Ground, Vinay Marg, Chanakyapuri, New Delhi and the Finals were scheduled at Civil Services Cricket Ground, Vinay Marg, Chanakyapuri, New Delhi.
The multi locational cricket tournament witnessed the participation of various states to qualify for the Asian and the World Championships in Blind Cricket that shall be held in January 2016.
The event finals was graced by Mr Jitendra Prasad, Minister of State for Development of North Eastern Region (Independent charge) and Minister of State for Prime Minister Office Personnel, Public Grievances & Pensions Department of Atomic Energy and Department of Space, Government of India.
The event was also honoured by Shri Awanish Kumar Awasthi, Joint Secretary (DEPwD), Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities, Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment and Mr Rajdeep Sardesai, a prominent news reporter and consulting editor at the India Today Group.
