On October 9 & 10, 2016, Paras HMRI Hospital and Paras Cancer Centre, Patna launched a nationwide social media campaign to sensitise the population on the risks, causes and treatment of Oral Cancer. The initiative was supported by various social media influencers who trended the hashtags #SpitOutCancer and #TambakuSeyAzadi. Doctors of Paras Patna shared their advice through informative videos highlighting the importance of quitting the deadly habit. The campaign also included selfies with boards that highlighted the support for the campaign. The campaign gathered more than 7,000 tweets & retweets, 1Million reach and 3Million impressions on Twitter and 20,000 views on 9 YouTube videos. This campaign reached across 10 PR websites.
