Dr. Sangeeta Deka

Dr. Sangeeta is a highly skilled anesthetist with specialized expertise in liver transplant anesthesia for both pediatric and adult patients. Her extensive experience encompasses living donor and cadaveric transplants, as well as both open and robotic procedures. Dr. Sangeeta is proficient in managing anesthesia for hepatectomies, including complex liver resections, and is well-versed in anesthesia for major gastrointestinal oncological surgeries such as Whipples procedures, gastrectomy and esophagectomy  (including robotic, VATS and Ivor Lewis procedures). 
Additionally, Dr. Sangeeta has significant experience in providing anesthesia for outpatient gastrointestinal procedures and regional anesthesia techniques. Over the years, she has worked at several premier hospitals across the country, ultimately focusing her practice on the field of liver transplant anesthesia.
Academic and Professional Contributions: Dr. Sangeeta is actively involved in academic endeavors, having guided DNB students and fellows and contributed to the organization of several medical conferences. Her research contributions include numerous publications in national and international peer-reviewed journals, reflecting her commitment to advancing the field of anesthesiology.
