About Dr. Taruna Pahuja

Dr. Taruna Pahuja is a trained Nephrologist with her medical education from India’s premier institute. Her clinical journey has given her extensive exposure to managing a wide spectrum of kidney-related disorders, ranging from routine nephrology care to highly complex cases. She has special interest in  kidney Transplant and CAPD.

She is deeply committed to slowing the progression of chronic kidney disease (CKD) in her patients and strive to delay the need of dialysis as much as possible. However, in cases where dialysis becomes unavoidable, she advocates early kidney transplant, so that it helps her patients regain valuable years and quality of life that will otherwise lost to long term Dialysis. She has significant experience in blood group and HLA compatible and incompatible cases.  She is well familiar with all forms of dialysis (Haemodialysis, SLED, CRRT, Peritoneal dialysis) and catheter insertions along with comprehensive management of critically ill patients with acute kidney injury and glomerular diseases. Dr Pahuja is a member of the International Society of Nephrology and Indian Society of Nephrology, and has participated in conferences at the state and national level. Her previous experiences include - Consultant – Nephrology at Homi Bhabha Centre Hospital and Research Centre, New Chandigarh, Senior Resident – Nephrology, AIIMS New Delhi (Gold Medalist), Senior Resident – Medicine, AIIMS New Delhi  & Junior Resident- PGIMS Rohtak, Haryana.
