Dr Shaw highlighted that a tumour had shifted the heart from the left to the right side, causing the lungs to collapse. According to Dr Amarnath Shaw,”Since the lungs could not inflate properly, the woman used to feel restless. On the basis of her CT Scan report, the surgery was carried out wherein not just the tumour was removed, but the ribs’ 5 bones were also cut. She was discharged on the fifth day of surgery.” He also shared,”Had the operation not been carried out on time, the woman’s life would still be under threat. It is surprising how a weak woman managed to live with a tumour for one whole year. Since Paras Hospital is equipped with all state-of-the-art services, it was easier for us to treat all kinds of diseases at reasonable rates”, concluded Dr Shaw.
