Patna, 7 June: Patna SSP, Mr Manu Maharaaj has appreciated the initiative of Paras HMRI Hospital Patna that aims at supporting the traffic police in the summer time. The CSR initiative of the hospital included providing tea, water and refreshment support to the traffic police which stands for numerous hours in the excruciating summer heat. The campaign named ‘YOU FIRST’ has been widely appreciated by the public and police department. Marking the success of the campaign and assuring that the services will continue, Dr Talat Halim, Regional Director Paras Hospitals East presented a memento of gratitude to Mr Manu Maharaj, SSP Patna.

The YOU FIRST emergency campaign is a comprehensive plan that includes providing 60 minutes of free ER service to the ailing.

Dr Talat Halim, Regional Director Paras Hospitals East shared, “ This is a unique initiative of Paras Hospitals that has been initiate under the |corporate social responsibility (CSR) agenda of the hospital. The initiative aims at serving the traffic constables on humanitarian grounds. Under the YOU FIRST campaign we are providing Shikanji (ORS and lemon water) to the traffic police who is often standing at the various traffic intersections in the scorching heat. Our ambulance also check their health status.”

Paras HMRI Hospital Patna has started this unique service for the last one month for the traffic constables under which their health check up is conducted  at their police check posts itself and their blood pressure and diabetes status is tested. They are also provided training for basic life support to help the injured people on the road.
