About Dr. Pathak Kumar Nishant Shivram
When a baby is born too early or needs extra care right from day one, every hour matters. Originally from Mumbai, Dr. Nishant Pathak trained in some of India's most advanced neonatal care centres before making the choice to bring that same level of expertise home to Jharkhand so families here don't have to travel to a big city to get it.
As the lead consultant of the Level III NICU at Paras HEC Hospital, Dr. Pathak has helped many of the tiniest, most fragile babies, some weighing under 350 grams, grow strong enough to go home in their parents' arms. Beyond the newborn period, he also cares for children of all ages, personally managing a wide range of conditions including digestive, kidney, and neurological problems, rather than routinely referring them elsewhere.
