About Dr. Sajad Ahmad Bhat

Dr. Sajad Ahmad Bhat is a Consultant Neonatologist at Paras Health, Srinagar. He earned his MBBS from Government Medical College (GMC), Srinagar, in 2013 and completed his MD in Paediatrics from the Children’s Hospital, Srinagar, in 2018. He further pursued a DM in Neonatology from the prestigious Lady Hardinge Medical College and its associated Kalawati Saran Children’s Hospital, New Delhi, from 2021 to 2024. He is among the first from the Kashmir Valley to achieve a DM in Neonatology, marking a significant milestone for the region.

With advanced training in Neonatal Intensive Care, Dr. Sajad brings a strong foundation in clinical care, academic research, and quality improvement initiatives aimed at improving outcomes for critically ill and vulnerable newborns. His practice is grounded in evidence-based medicine, and he remains committed to enhancing neonatal care through continuous learning and innovation.

At Paras Health, he plays a pivotal role in developing the Neonatology Department, providing high-quality, specialized care to neonates, including those requiring intensive and surgical management.
