Dr. Gyan Ranjan is an experienced Orthopaedic Surgeon with 7+ years of expertise, currently practicing at Paras global hospital , Darbhanga. He has successfully performed 100+ knee and hip replacement surgeries.

He completed his MBBS (Kerala University) and MS Orthopaedics (B.N. Mandal University), followed by advanced training in trauma and spine surgery at National University Hospital, Singapore under Dr. Diamurd Murphy.

He holds Spine Fellowships from Ganga Hospital, Coimbatore (Dr. Prof. S. Rajasekaran) and Indian Spinal Injuries Centre, New Delhi (Dr. H. S. Chhabra), and received international training in knee,hip,elbow, shoulder replacement, knee arthroscopy and shoulder arthroscopy from Marien-Hospital Erwitte, Germany.

He has been awarded 3 Gold Medals in Orthopaedics, including the R.R. Ganguly Gold Medal (twice at BOACON Bettiah & Patna) and the MP Chapter Gold Medal at CEZCON 2025, Siliguri.
