Paras HMRI Hospital, Patna was awarded the Best Best Community Initiative Award by Express Healthcare for setting up mobile ICU at Prakash Utsav – Shukrana Samaroh. The prestigious event organized by the Indian Express group was held in New Delhi and was adjudged by a prestigious jury headed by Mr Bejon Mishra. The hospital had set up a functional mobile ICU unit for the people visiting the Patna Sahib Gurudwara  on the 350th Prakash Parv (also Prakash Utsav) or birth anniversary of Guru Gobind Singh ji. The event saw the participation of more than 10 lakh pilgrims.

Paras HMRI Hospital is a community player and the event of such magnitude, stature and state importance needed the medial expertise of the specialists. Paras Hospital Patna set up a specialized ICU unit, a step up from the routine medical units. The same needed elaborate planning  – medical, electrical and clinical. The team of experts at Paras Patna has worked out exceptional plans to deliver the best ER care and ICU service to the devotees. More than 50 critical cases of pulmonology, heart attack and other related medical conditions were treated at the ICU centre. The hospital also provided ACLS ambulance service.”

The treatment of the patient on the site and the correct, timely transfer to the patient to the hospital post primary care for secondary and specialized attention had to g in a synchronous manner.
