Dr Ambuj kumar is a reputed neurosurgeon currently working as Director and Head Neurosurgery dept., Paras hospital, Patna. He completed his M.Ch training from  prestigious AIIMS, New Delhi and then went to Japan for fellowship in cerebrovascular and endovascular surgery. He is a versatile neurosurgeon with expertise in all kind of brain and spine disorders like headache, backache, seizure disorder, head injury, spine injury, stroke, brain tumours, slip disc etc. He had got special training in Neurointervention,  a special technology in which many diseases related to brain and spine vessels are diagnosed and treated without any surgery. It includes procedures like brain and spine angiography (DSA), Aneurysm coiling, AVM embolization etc. He is one of the few dual trained Neurosurgeons in India for management of neurovascular diseases such as Aneurysms, AVM etc.
