Dr. SHANKARA RAM CHOUDHARY

Dr. S. R. Choudhary has independently performed over 400 neurosurgical procedures in the past two years, covering a wide spectrum of brain, spine, endoscopic spine, and endovascular surgeries. He is actively involved in both emergency and planned neurosurgical procedures, with particular expertise in complex brain and spine surgeries as well as acute stroke interventions. His practice also includes comprehensive neurointerventional management of cerebrovascular diseases, where he has independently performed advanced procedures such as mechanical thrombectomy for acute ischemic stroke, carotid and intracranial artery stenting, aneurysm coiling, stent-assisted coiling, and diagnostic cerebral angiography for complex vascular conditions.

As an integral member of a 24×7 stroke team, he plays a key role in rapid patient assessment, imaging interpretation, and timely intervention for stroke patients. Through his contributions to optimizing stroke pathways and treatment protocols, he has helped improve treatment timelines and enhance patient outcomes while actively participating in multidisciplinary case discussions, academic programs, and training initiatives to advance neurosurgical care.
