About Dr. Andalib Kashani

Dr Andalib Kashani is a Consultant in Joint Replacement & Orthopaedics at Paras Health, Patna, with over seven years of post-specialty experience across leading tertiary-care institutions in India and the United Kingdom. He is a UK-trained Orthopaedic Surgeon with focused expertise in lower limb arthroplasty, complex trauma and reconstructive orthopaedic surgery. Following his DNB in Orthopaedics, Dr Kashani gained extensive experience in trauma and emergency orthopaedic surgery during his Senior Residency at University College of Medical Sciences & Guru Teg Bahadur Hospital, New Delhi. He subsequently pursued further training in Trauma & Orthopaedics at University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust, UK.

Dr Kashani went on to complete his MCh in Orthopaedics from the University of Dundee, Scotland, UK. He subsequently undertook focused training in lower limb arthroplasty within NHS Tayside, including a fellowship in Complex Primary and Revision Lower Limb Arthroplasty at Perth Royal Infirmary, Scotland. His training included exposure to complex primary and revision hip and knee replacement, periprosthetic fractures and lower limb reconstruction. His principal areas of interest include primary and revision hip and knee replacement, complex primary joint replacement, periprosthetic fracture management, lower limb reconstruction, complex trauma, and geriatric fragility fractures. His extensive trauma background includes the independent management of orthopaedic emergencies, long-bone and peri-articular fractures and complex lower limb injuries. Dr Kashani has a keen academic interest and has contributed to research and publications in Orthopaedics. He is registered with the General Medical Council, UK, and is a Member of the National Academy of Medical Sciences (MNAMS).

His clinical practice is centred on evidence-based decision-making, patient safety and contemporary outcome-driven orthopaedic care, with particular emphasis on restoring mobility and function in patients requiring joint replacement and complex lower limb reconstruction.
