Asthma affects the airways in the lungs.. The breathing tubes also become reactive, causing them to squeeze and tighten. That in active makes the lungs more important  to be affected by allergens or irritants like  as pollen, pet dander, strong scents or fragrances, stress, exercise or cold air. Coughing is the body’s natural way of trying to remove whatever is irritating the lungs.While people with asthma often experience a whistling or wheezing sound in the chest in addition to coughing, there is a form of asthma in which the only  one symptom is a chronic cough. It  is called as cough-variant asthma. People with this kind of asthma generally don’t get free  from over the counter cough medicine successful treatment requires prescription asthma medication  often in the form of inhalers.

The most common symptoms of asthma:  

  • Cough
  • Wheeze
  • Breathlessness
  • Chest tightness

People with asthma describe  us coughing outbursts can be embarrassing. But  with the right treatment, you will be cough-free most of the duration. Some people with asthma may go for extended periods without having any symptoms, interrupted by periodic worsening of their symptoms known as asthma attacks. Others might have asthma symptoms every day. In addition,few people may only have asthma during exercise, or asthma with viral infectionslike  as colds. Early warning signs are changes that happen just before or at the very beginning of an asthma attack. These signs may begin before the well known symptoms of asthma and are the earliest signs that your asthma is dangerous .In basically  these signs are not severe enough to stop you from going about your daily routine .
